SONGWRITING & DIRECTION
This is where everything starts. Nathan will help you zero in on the right song, the one that captures your voice, your story, and your identity as an artist. If you’ve ever felt unsure about which song to lead with, or worried your writing isn’t quite “there”, this is where that clarity begins.
PRE- PRODUCTION
This phase is all about shaping your sound. Nathan will help you experiment with musical and stylistic direction, until you land on something that doesn’t just sound good, but feels true to who you are.
When recording at Nathan’s favorite studio space in Los Angeles, Capitol Studios, he has access to the legendary echo chambers used by Adele, Coldplay, John Mayer, and others. These chambers create a natural depth and emotional weight that cannot be faked, which is why they remain one of the most sought-after vocal reverbs in modern recording.
ARTIST DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGY
Throughout the recording process and before a song is released, Nathan works with artists to think through timing, positioning, and best practices for launching the music. Each release is approached with a customized plan based on the artist’s current reach, audience, and goals, with the aim of creating momentum rather than releasing in isolation.
IN THE STUDIO
Nathan is known for vocal production, not just making artists sound polished, but pulling out the nuances that make them unforgettable.
In Nashville, he partners with studios that give artists a world-class experience. And if Los Angeles makes sense for the project, he has a trusted team and studio access available there as well.
REMOTE RECORDING
For select projects, Nathan works with artists remotely, offering a highly focused, modern recording experience without sacrificing quality or creative connection. This approach allows you to record in a space where you are most comfortable and perform at your best, while still benefiting from Nathan’s real-time guidance and production oversight.
FINAL PRODUCTION, MIX, AND MASTERING
After the vocal sessions are complete, Nathan will pull everything together and complete the final production as he gets your feedback along the way. At this point you’ll hear all of your hard work brought to life as he shapes the details together to form a release-ready-mix.
